SINGING

Philip is currently a Bass Lay Vicar Choral at Lichfield Cathedral. He has also undertaken work in small chamber groups and as a solo baritone.  Solo work has included opera, oratorio, recitals and a solo appearance on television.

Reviews:

'...Philip Lancaster was not required until the second part but certainly made his presence felt, especially in the haunting rendition of Mein Teurer Heiland, in which the excellent contribution from Keith Tempest on continuo cello made this one of the highlights of the evening.' (St. John Passion - John Packwood, Bristol Evening Post)
'...characterfully sung by baritone Philip Lancaster' (Leighton Shakespeare Songs - Roderic Dunnett, Church Times)

J.S. Bach St. John Passion. Pilate and bass arias (March 2005; April 2006)
