23 November 2008: 'They tolled the one bell only': The remarkable influence of A.E. Housman
A paper to be given at a Symposium organised by the Elgar and RVW Societies to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Ralph Vaughan Williams. Titled 'Let Beauty Awake', the Symposium consists of various papers considering the influences of literature and poetry on Sir Edward Elgar and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
